Looking for an eco-friendly composter?

Get composting with a range of bins and handy materials from The Recycle Works

'We use non-toxic wood preservative which is kind to insects and wildlife, so it will not kill worms or bugs in the compost.'

Single composter
Single Wooden Compost Bin from Recycle Works

Composters from The Recycle Works are handmade in the company's workshop in the Ribble Valley and the wood is sourced from FSC sustainable forests. 'We also use non-toxic wood preservative which is kind to insects and wildlife, so it will not kill worms or bugs in the compost, unlike tanalised (CCA) timber,' says the company.

With no nails or screws (or holes to dig), you can assemble it fully in just four minutes, claims Recycle Works. Sliding panels offer easy access, while closed sides prevent drying out and uneven composting. More modules can be added to double or treble the capacity. It comes with free cover and composting leaflet.
