Funky barrow up for grabs!

October 07: New member Mark D'Cruz from Whitton wins our join prize...

Funky Barrows
Funky Barrows brighten up a dull day

'Although lightweight, funky barrows are said to be tough enough to cope with a load weighing a whopping 180kg (28 stone)!'

Wheelbarrow with an edge
Gardening.co.uk was delighted to offer a funky wheelbarrow to one new member to join the site in November 2007, which turned out to be Mark d'Cruz from Whitton. Congratulations Mark.

Funky barrows are the creation of keen gardener and housewife Annie. Voted 'Best Buy' by Amateur Gardening, Funky Barrows feature a 'unique' one-piece tyre and wheel which, the company says, is guaranteed never to go flat.

Although lightweight, funky barrows are said to be tough enough to cope with a load weighing a whopping 180kg (28 stone), and the 80-litre polypropylene pan is reinforced to accommodate large loads at a time. Easy-grip handles are 'softer to touch than ordinary handles', says Funky Barrow – and the funky bumper will protect your frame...and patio or decking...from scrapes and bumps.

The coloured barrows sport bright designs including Crazy Daisy, Sunflower, Sweet Pea and Roxy Retro to cheer up a dull day, and there's a range of mini barrows for little ones coming soon. The barrow costs £64.99 plus £10.50 p&p. Enter the world of Funky Barrows to find out more.
