Early Birds are a brand new series of special early-flowering pinks raised by Whetman Pinks in Devon. There are five varieties: Fizzy, Frilly, Rosebud, Sherbet and Stardust. Pot them in January and they'll start flowering by late March to early April. Plugs cost £1 from Whetman Pinks. Phone the company on 01626 863328 for details.
