For starters, it's free to join and takes just a minute to fill in your basic details. What else? Well, members can post their gardening questions on the Forum and have them answered for FREE by our dedicated Q&A team.

Friends on the Forum
As a member, you can also take part in the lively Forum discussions, exchange ideas and tips with our thriving community – and make new friendships! Gardening.co.uk members are a totally mixed bag of beginners and long-term gardeners from across the UK and abroad. Our youngest member I believe is 14, with the oldest pushing towards 90!

You can post on the Gallery
The Gallery is the place to post cherished photos of your plants and gardens and vote for your favourites. And the Gallery is an important facility for those wanting advice. Many members like to post photos of plants they want identified (as Kev has done, above) or to illustrate a specific problem. Our Q&A team loves photographic evidence, so get posting. Your Gallery pics can link to the Forum for general discussion.

Weekly newsletter
Each week I'll be emailing you a Gardening.co.uk newsletter reminding you what's on site and what's coming up, with timely gardening tips. You'll also discover what the current issue of Gardens Monthly magazine has to offer, and details of our great subscription gifts. Remember to check the box requesting your newsletter is ticked when you join the site, to keep in touch and make the most of your membership.

Monthly prizes
Then there's our monthly prizes for posting on the Forum, the Gallery and for joining the site. I'll publish the results with any information you can give me about you and your garden, so you can appear in our member profiles. As a member, you can also enter competitions and win some great gardening prizes. Good luck!

Did I mention it's FREE to join Gardening.co.uk! It costs just a minute of your time to join, for hours of good gardening online.
