Congratulations Ron!

June 2007: Ronald Poulton wins our new member joining prize of a weeping hose kit...

Weeping Hose Kit
Water-saving Weeping Hose Kit

'This complete kit is very easy to set up and attach to your outside tap, working with your mains water supply.'

The Weeping Hose Kit from Two Wests & Elliott is ideal if you're away on holiday this summer, or if we experience those frustrating drought conditions once again. While the end of June has brought heavy rains and flooding, who knows how July and August will fare, or if we'll find ourselves in the midst of another Indian summer in early autumn.

This complete kit is very easy to set up and attach to your outside tap, working with your mains water supply. It's highly effective at using water efficiently, as there's no water wastage. A steady flow of moisture is delivered to sink right down into the soil providing a consistently moist environment for your plants, without waterlogging the roots. You can lay the hose directly on the ground's surface or bury to conceal it.

What's included
Included in the Weeping Hose Kit is 30 metres (93 ft) of hose that 'weeps' water along its entire length; a Gardena Snap-On Hose Connector which attaches to a tap connector easily; outlet tap connector; two Straight Connectors, allowing you to join lengths of hose together or to a hose pipe; two Elbow Connectors to divert hose around a bend without interrupting the flow of water; two 'T' connectors to branch the hose around the garden; and four Plugs to halt the water at the end of a run securely.

For more on watering and water products, see related articles at the end of this page.

What can I say, never won anything in my life and never expected to.Cant wait to try this out as I seem to spend endless hours watering where the rain cant get in.
If this is a hoax I shall look for a tall building(not really)
Wating in anticipation,
All the best,
Ron.P.
