The insect Chrysoperla carnea, more commonly known as a Lacewing is, at its larval stage, an effective predator of aphids. It has also been observed eating other pests like thrips, red spider mite and moths eggs; each larvae can consume up to 50 aphids a day, killing them by sucking out their body fluids.
Only use on low growing crops and apply to infested leaves.
