JUST ANT REPEL for Lawns & Pots
Non chemical treatment for ant colonies in lawns
Lawns can be disfigured when ant colonies move above the surface. Trials with nematodes have shown that ant colonies disappear after treatment with them. The ants do not appear to die, unlike other nematode treatments against pests, but the nematodes do act as an irritant to ants. The ants do not tolerate the nematodes in the colony and move away, usually some distance as lawns treated did not see new colonies appear shortly after treatment.
Simply mix up the nematodes in a watering can and drench onto the ant "mounds" or colonies.
* Works as irritant to displace and move on ant colonies
* Uses nematodes [live microscopic worms] supplied in powder form, diluted with water, applied with watering can or hose end feeder
* Applied directly to ant hills or mounds
* Harmless to worms, birds, wildlife
* Safe for children, pets and adults
* Can be stored in fridge for 3 weeks if un-opened
Recommended treatment periods are April - October when the soil temperatures are warm enough for nematodes to be effective.
