The Honeyberry is a recent introduction to the grow-at-home market and is set to become a popular addition to British gardens. The honeyberry is actually Lonicera caerulea var. Kamtschtica, a honeysuckle which produces large, edible, elliptical berries similar in colour and flavour to the blueberry. Sweet enough to be eaten fresh, the berries can also be made into jam, jelly or even ice cream and any surplus fruits will retain their flavour and form when frozen.
