I sowed some chilli pepper seeds in a pot some weeks ago - they grew very quickly so start with and are about an inch tall now, however for the last few weeks they have shown no sign of growing any taller, is this normal, am I being impatient or should I be doing something to get them moving again. I appreciate your advice.

Hi Glyn. It might be this stop-start season, because my peppers are doing the same. They're growing in fits & starts. Just keep them warm and watered, hopefully they'll get the message!

Hi Val, thanks for replying I'll keep an eye on them and see what happens. I went away this weekend and when I got back they looked as if they had started moving again.

Hi, I grew some last year and exactly the same happened. In then end I ended up with a reasonable sized plant with a number of tasty fruits.
Am growing again this year, so we will see what happens. Good luck with yours.

Hi Lindsay

Take a look at one of our site articles by Elisabeth Arter on late veg you can grow from late summer into autumn. No Tony Blur here. Hope it helps.
