Just a note to say that if you are trying to promote your product/company on this site, please be upfront about it and say so - as in the case of recent poster, Mark Kennerley, who has made it clear that he represents the plant company he is discussing on the forum. He is also a paying advertiser.

Just recently though, we've had a posting from someone attempting to pass themself off as a gardener recommending a specific product. I'm not going to name and shame, but please don't do that - it's not fair on our members, visiting public and advertisers. The company in question has also just become a paying advertiser, so ironically, there wasn't a need for subterfuge.

The general rule is quite simple. If you are a paying advertiser, do use the forum to mention your product or service....but please don't go on ad infinitum....and make it clear who you are.

If you're are not a paying advertiser, don't use the forum as a means to promote your products. I know who you are and will delete these threads. We have two lovely people - Zara Mehmet (01689 899230) and Gary Fisher (01689 899240) who can help you with all your advertising needs - and give you a good deal into the bargain.
