How heartbreaking for you Barbara! I have only had my garden flooded once and that was far too often! You seem to be taking it well though, good luck with the rest of the season

I consider myself very lucky. Seeing the water in your garden will stop me moaning about a few drunken plants burdened by loads of water weight. It looks a really lovely garden and you must work hard at it. I hope this weather changes soon otherwise we will be invaded by ducks. All the best

I Know the feeling Barbara. My garden is VERY soggy (we've had a lot of rain in Sheffield), but its on a bit of a slope, so it wasnt actually underwater. However, most of my veg are rotting in the ground and my poor sunflowers and other plants arent happy at all! Its the first year Ive planted veg and I'm gutted.
Today is the first day in a fortnight that it hasnt rained!!!!!
BTW my garden is nowhere as nice as yours (and its a lot smaller than yours), I hope it dries out for you soon.

I know Sheffield was hit hard, watched the tv. footage, so sorry for all those people, I was born just outside Rotherham and my heart goes out to all those who have been flooded out. We have been very lucky, I now live in Gainsborough, up on top of a hill, have been watching the Trent carefully, it has now receeded, we are so lucky not to have had it as bad as some people.
