Well captured Clarita!!... pity about the reed going across his nose.

Thanks Honey! Yes,  it would have been better if the reed was not across his nose yet only had one shot at this shot as was in a boat when took it- boat powered by our nature guide at Arundel Wetlands so with this considered was pretty happy with this photograph. Also, first time ever seen a water vole so was pretty excited! Saw another water vole whilst walking along the wooden walkway yet this one was even more hidden amongst the reeds.

Would recommend Arundel's Wetland Centre to everyone here- a fantastic place with many different species of birds to look at- some ones very rare, too! Also, there are water voles, snakes and other interesting creatures. Did not go to the grass snake part as petrified of snakes!!

My favourite shots were of the two black swans and the baby moohen. Not long after taking the photograph of the baby moorhen watched an adult moorhen, probably the mother or father, chase away an adult coot bird that was too close to the baby coot.

Warmest wishes, Clarita

I also like the black swans (they have their own little bit of red).  I would have liked to have seen a real close up of that one.  If the focusing is sharp you could play around with it and try cropping that one (just one bird) and enlarging it as there are some good markings on those birds.
