I don't think so Paula.  It grows in a tropical climate and often found in deserts.  It might survive in the summer months, but certainly not in the winter.  The majority of plant is pure aloe juice and this would freeze at low temperatures.

Hi

Why dont you take a cutting and start again ??

You should have lots of little baby plants in the pot.  Try to replant all baby shoots and then you will have plenty to give to local charities or friends. Also use the mother plant for all the juice for cooling skin etc. Aloe is very expensive to buy, and has a great deal of  healing  agents. I am sure you must have looked the plant up?? Do bring inside as soon as it starts to get cooler, leave almost un attended for the winter.
