Mick,I actually traveles 3 hours from Kildare to Lisburn today to get pork(well, thats what I told Shay, really went for shopping, but as they say,the way to a mans heart is through his stomach)for Shays weekend breakfast.Went to Sainsburys, got pork chops, rashers, sausages, sliced ham etc all the forbidden food!!!Not only that Mick, but i done a good grocery shop, spent 175 euro, and we added up tonight compared to Irish prices, the savings. The savings was 95 euro. That was just in one shop.ToysRus!!!oh kids(me) paradise, and again a great savings.I heard on radio today that Ireland is the 3th highest country in the world for living, its a disgrace.I think it is going to be a long time before our ork is seen back on the shelf. What is more upsetting,is,the amount of it that has to be dumped, and the amount of people starving in the world, and heres the Irish dumping 99%of good pork.

Tell Sarah, that she better keep her eyes open for the pig rustelers,I seen a funny caption in ur local newspaper today of our so called leader,Mr Cowan, disguised as a pig, they didnt need to do trick photography for that pic,he just looks the part ul naturel!!

As for Shays job,he has just started into a second job, which in time, once he builds it up,will equal the wage he has been use to with Royal Liver,so thatsgood news, hard doing the 2 jobs at the moment, but make hay as the sun shines,so they say. Thanks for your kind words on that subject Mick.

Well hope we all almost finished with xmas shopping, cant believe its come round again,so quick.Take care, and keep popping in for a chat.

Happy New Year to you all.Have been so busy been a kid again,I almost neglected my PC duties!!Cant get me smilies up on this, how come???Hope you all had a great time.Mick your right, kids are great for bringing them childhood days back again in us. Mary,I would be like you,if I had not fostered my little ones, xmas would not be the same without kids. Time to start thinking on cleaning out tunnel.Have not put a foot in there since last October!!! Counting the days now,we all go visit Florida, and our eldest in 26 more days!!YAHOO!!!!

debbie

i think that we should all go to florida, but, without the kids, just you, shay sarah and me. we could dump all our kids onto mary for a couple of weeks!!!!!!!

Show/hide user stats
Ahhhh     I'm too old I would forgot where I put them !! But I could come with you.       Seriously Debbie I would put off any ideas of going into the tunnel for a few days.   Very hard frost here, nothing to be done in the garden.   Just the seed catalogues to browse.
