Getting rid of all slugs is an almost impossible task but it is possible to keep them away from a few favourite plants.For slug control over a large area, slug pellets are economical and easy to apply (there are now organic ones). There are lots of barrier methods but these can work out expensive if you have a lot of plants. We have covered the options available such as copper and biological control etc in Gardens Monthly Spring Special - out on 2nd March.

Hi Vivian, I use cheap beer put in container they are drawn to the smell drink it and die and also the slugs love it.
